Tasks

-Inspect welding equipment and work environments for compliance -Oversee welding activities during equipment installation and repairs -Interpret welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME, API) -Conduct visual and non-destructive testing of welded joints and structures -Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies -Inspect structural welding for facility modifications and maintenance -Provide technical guidance to welders and fabrication teams -Review welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material certifications -Coordinate with contractors and vendors on welding-related work -Document inspection results and identify non-conformances

What You Bring

-Physical ability to work in various environments and lift 50 pounds -Proficiency in visual inspection and NDT methods -Supervisory or training experience -Technical degree in welding or related field -Experience in manufacturing or petrochemical environments -Experience with structural steel, piping systems, and pressure vessels -Ability to read technical drawings and specifications -Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW) -Familiarity with welding codes (AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, API 1104) -Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification -Minimum 5 years of welding inspection experience in industrial facilities
