Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

Maintain HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for a hotel with 24/7 on‑call shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis -Maintain equipment to industry standards -Place or remove systems and equipment as directed -Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required -Daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and associated equipment -Interface with building manager and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction -Diagnose and repair simple HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems as required and/or as assigned by supervisor -Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork, and mount equipment according to specifications as directed -Complete daily, weekly and/or monthly reports of system status as directed by supervisor -Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion

What You Bring

-Possess excellent customer service skills -Basic coursework in electrical and HVAC systems -Must be available to be on call 24/7 -Able to lift sixty (60) pounds -Prior hotel experience a plus -Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet -Must be available to work all shifts -Universal CFC/R-410A -Reliable transportation
