The Role

Overview

Lead end-to-end supply chain, strategic sourcing and operations for GEIS India plant.

Tasks

-Identify and engage key stakeholders across functions — including business leaders, administrative teams, plant operations, HR, marketing, and facilities — to understand service needs, align sourcing strategies, and provide procurement support -Conduct market analysis, supplier selection, RFQs, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation -Maintain strong, value-driven relationships with vendors to ensure performance, innovation, and adherence to Eaton’s standards. -Responsible for on time delivery of products both for internal and external customers. -Stay informed of market trends, pricing, and innovations across service categories. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-added services that support Eaton’s operational and financial goals -Build strong, trust-based working relationships with functional and business leaders to drive shared accountability for supplier performance, timely approvals, and overall service delivery -Proactively identify risks and work on supply chain resilience and Business continuity management. -Responsible to drive the inventory goals and through regular inventory management techniques. -Own the sourcing strategy and execution for third-party Direct, Indirect materials & service categories such as events and trade shows, food and beverage, facility and office support services, and other indirect services. -Responsible to drive CAPEX requirement and control budget for the team. -Build and manage strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure service excellence, cost competitiveness, and alignment with Eaton’s operational needs and standards. -Ensure timely onboarding of new suppliers, including documentation, due diligence, compliance checks, and system registration. -Lead the end-to-end sourcing, contracting, and performance management of all third-party suppliers across categories such as events and trade shows, food and beverages, facilities management, administrative services, and miscellaneous indirect services. -Conduct periodic assessments on Material Management activities to ensure we are in compliance with the Eaton’s global sourcing / procurement strategies.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication, analytical, and project management abilities. -Good understanding of local supply base on PCB assemblies, Bare PCB, injection molding, stampings, casting, sheet metals etc. -Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor performance skills. -Strong Material Planning, Capacity planning experience is required. -Experience in handling Electronic, PCB,PCBA, Plastic Injection, Molding,Casting, sheet metal commodities is prefered -Any Bachelor or Masters degree in Engg. with a Professional/Certificate degree in Supply Chain like APICS/ CPM etc will be an added advantage. -Strong knowledge on Procurement and Strategic sourcing.Knowledge on SIOP will be an added advantage. -Strong Knowledge on SAP-MM/PP Module. -Good knowledge on WH management and of regular transactions. -Strong knowledge on end-to-end supply chain flow and activities with exccellent pan India supply base connect for various commodities. -20+ years in Supply chain & Strategic Sourcing -Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior business and functional stakeholders, fostering collaboration and shared ownership. -High ethical standards and a strong sense of accountability and ownership. -Knowledge on production planning, scheduling & monitoring for daily production.
