Overview

Designs new residential architectural products, creates plans, and collaborates with team.

Tasks

-Creating and governing design standards and procedures, budgets and timelines -Managing multiple projects simultaneously -Requesting all appropriate approvals -Creating option lists, designs and notating any required rules/restrictions -Compiling required deliverables and conducting project kick-off meetings with project stakeholders -Meeting established timelines and budgets -Plan review and input of proposed product VE efforts -Collaborating with in-house design team -Conducting schematic design reviews with in-house design team and revising designs as requested -Design production of new architectural product -Design New Architectural Products -Using AutoCAD software and manual drawing techniques to produce architectural plans for management and client approval

What You Bring

-Ability to travel as needed (not mandatory) -Able to determine correct budgets and timelines for new projects -Strong creative design and time management skills -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint -Experience with Photoshop and SketchUp -4 + years of progressive residential design experience -Able to work with employees among multiple departments -Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture -Able to utilize the department specific technologies to solve business challenges -Able to produce insightful and innovative ideas -Ability to serve as a champion of the company’s values, mission and vision and provide leadership to product design team members throughout the region -Regular collaboration with counterparts with in-house design team -Appearance of team deliverables -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Architectural artistic or other creative background -Excellent technical skills, particularly with AutoCAD software
