Tasks
-Foster a culture of innovation and shared learning -Ensure delivery of high-quality remote sensing services across business units -Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution -Develop and oversee QA/QC standards for remote sensing deliverables -Coordinate remote sensing with broader Geomatics and Marine Services operations -Champion new workflows and methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy -Coordinate training opportunities to advance internal expertise -Lead internal and external presentations to share knowledge and insights -Guide the Mobile, Static, and UAS Communities of Practice -Stay current with emerging remote sensing tools, technologies, and trends -Collaborate with clients to understand expectations and success metrics -Deliver tailored technical solutions that exceed client expectations -Support pursuit strategy with Geomatics and Regional Market Leaders -Provide leadership to supervisors and staff through goal setting, career development, and day-to-day management -Identify integration opportunities across client teams and geographic regions -Help expand DEA’s remote sensing footprint through strategic planning -Represent DEA in external forums and partnerships

What You Bring
-Ability to set SMART goals and communicate strategy -Working knowledge of GIS, photogrammetry, and modeling integration -Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills -Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) -Strong industry presence and commitment to thought leadership -Demonstrated success supervising staff and managing technical teams -Experience with Departments of Transportation in the Western U.S. -10+ years of survey experience, including 5+ years in remote laser scanning and sUAS
