Overview

Manages site keys, patrols, and supports QC on construction sites.

Tasks

-Report workmanship issues, cleanliness concerns, or damage to finished areas to site management or QC Team. -Maintain accurate and organized key logs to ensure all keys are tracked and accounted for. -Identify and report unauthorized access, safety hazards, or site damage.Support site closure and equipment lock-up procedures at the end of the workday. -Assist with emergency procedures including site evacuations or lockdowns as directed. -Provide assistance and guidance to visitors, delivery personnel, and inspectors in compliance with site protocols. -Report lost, damaged, or unretion for deliveries, inspections, and trade requirements. -Liaise with site supervision, security teams, and subcontractor foremen to coordinate key distribution and access needs. -Manage master keys and confirm restricted areas remain locked and secure. -Conduct regular patrols of entrances, stairwells, mechanical rooms, and other sensitive areas. -Support periodic audits of key inventory and contribute to QC documentation when needed. -Issue, collect, and document keys for contractors, trades, and site personnel in accordance with company policy. -Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and key sign-out sheets. -Support the QC Team by noting visible deficiencies or quality concerns during regular patrols. -Maintain detailed records of key activity, patrol rounds, and security observations. -Verify that access points are properly locked and secure outside working hours. -Help ensure common areas and completed units remain secure and meet cleanliness and presentation standards. -Assist with basic documentation tasks such as taking photos or recording notes for follow-up.

What You Bring

-Foresight to anticipate and resolve potential issues before they escalate. -Physically able to walk, climb, and patrol large multi-floor sites. -One to three (1-3) years of experience in construction site operations, security, or facilities management -Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping. -Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining confidentiality. -Excellent communication and teamwork skills. -Communicate clearly via radio or phone to support daily operations. -Certified in Health and Safety protocols (WHMIS, Working at Heights, Basics to Supervision). -Knowledge of access control and security protocols for high-rise construction. -Degree and/or diploma in Construction, Business, or a related field
