Project Manager

Overview

Lead design and manage K-12, municipal, and mixed-use projects from concept to completion.

Tasks

-Supervise CAD teams or departments. -Conduct comprehensive shop drawing reviews and proposal writing. -Review check prints for progress, errors, and omissions. -Conduct quality control checks of all documents for permits or bidding. -Supervise the creation of working drawings for complex projects. -Ensure construction documents meet quality control standards. -Supervise one or more design and/or production teams. -Coordinate all phases of marketing, presentation, and client relationships. -Manage CAD graphic standards, layering systems, and production files. -Write complete specifications for projects. -Complete design and production of original construction details. -Oversee construction administration and all related phases. -Coordinate engineering efforts comprehensively and check drawings for accuracy. -Develop designs and ensure technical coordination. -Participate in bidding and procurement processes.

What You Bring

-Experience managing public/municipal projects from start to finish. -Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT. -Excellent oral and written communication skills. -10+ years of experience in architecture, design, drafting, construction drawing, and construction documents. -Experience with K-12, institutional, municipal, or public projects. -Licensed Architect in New Jersey. -Strong organizational and prioritization skills. -Ability to manage a team of junior staff to meet client deliverables.
