Overview

Create and optimize CNC programs and manufacturing documentation using Mastercam.

Tasks

-Cycle time optimization for existing parts. -Development of 3D and 2D geometries according to blueprint. -Run first parts following NC program for buy off. -Provide guidance and training to operations personnel. -Development of NC Programs or lathe and mills. -Administration and control of NC Programs using DNC system. -Comply with QMS and Trade Compliance for technical data; keep records of changes and revisions, traceability. -Creation of manufacturing instructions / Dossier.

Requirements

What You Bring

-Basic geometry and arithmetic operations knowledge. -Definition of Cutting Tools and geometries (including modeling of tools holders, inserts, drills, etc.). -Continuous improvement on machining operations. -Blueprint reading and interpretation of simbology. -Engineering Degree Preferred or Technical Degree. -Use of Mastercam for NC programming. -Computer usage: Advanced. -Knowledge and experience in the operation of NC equipment (lathes and mills). -Cycle time definition for new parts. -Effective communicator. -Experience in the use of Mastercam software – hands on. -More than 5 years’ experience.
