Tasks

The National Leasing Manager - Office will work with the broader Mirvac Leasing team to provide support, guidance and the protocols necessary to asset teams on stream leasing assignments to optimise leasing outcomes, and position Mirvac as a partner of choice for tenants, agents and tenant advisors. -Ensuring all deals comply with the Mirvac standard lease parameters -Proactively address future vacancies across the assets and fund, through early action and an agreed strategic approach -For Strategic Assignments (lead) and for BAU / stream leasing assignments (support), the preparation of Leasing strategies with the Portfolio or Development Manager for each asset to ensure optimal tenant mix/lease expiry -Mentor and guide all team members on the fundamentals of leasing and value creation. -Involvement in the front end of new business projects, working closely across the Group capability platform to ensure long term value is enhanced. -Taking a lead role in major leasing/renewal negotiations (strategic assignment / major appointment), using a collaborative and inclusive approach with Portfolio and Asset Managers, and relevant Fund and Development Manager -Jointly responsible with the broader Mirvac Leasing team for the development and maintenance of relationships with tenant representatives and external leasing agents -Active role in the preparation of reports and presentations on leasing matters and forecasts and presenting Mirvac Leasing as knowledge leaders both internally and externally of Mirvac. -Support the Director Leasing - Office in establishing a market leading leasing platform for Mirvac, including the development of a high-quality consistent set of leasing standards, protocols, and commercial terms, to be used across the portfolio -The subject matter expert and leasing lead on an assigned portfolio of assets. -Collating and drawing on market trends to set the overarching strategy for leasing performance across the portfolio, ensuring consistency of service delivery and return maximization. -Partner with the Capital Transactions team to shape and deliver the overarching marketing and leasing strategy, leveraging market intelligence and positioning to support the sell down of development project or assets. -Support the development of the Asset Strategy that includes house views, target setting for base rent, vacancy, lease incentives, with a particular focus on 'strategic assignments' -Co-ordinating the appointment of and management of external leasing agents, to drive high performance and consistency across the portfolio

What You Bring

We are offering flexibility for this role to be based in Sydney or Melbourne. -Have experience in driving a team to establish and execute on a strategic leasing program over a lengthy period of time -Well established relationships with Tenant Representative and leasing agents within the broad market -Extensive experience working in an AREIT or wholesale investment fund product / with clients -Have a proven track record of leasing transactions, including large and pre-commit transactions -Commercial Acumen -Over 15 years' experience in agency or similar in Melbourne or Sydney market -Marketing Fluency -A proactive and self-motivated approach to problem solve problems and resolve issues as they arise
