Tasks

-Prepare engineering computations and estimates. -Prepare engineering design packages for agency review and approval. -Prepare civil material take-offs (MTOs) and work with cost estimators to establish project cost estimates. -Teach Engineers-In-Training civil leadership skills and provide presentations for civil engineering design. -Drafting of designs utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. -Analyze quotations and bids and make purchase recommendations. -Analyze and control project costs, budgets and schedules. -Hydrology and hydraulic analysis with hydrology report preparation and updates. -Interface with clients as needed and document findings in report format. -Development of civil engineering plans and designs. -Coordinate with field personnel for design clarifications and solutions to issues arising during construction. -Review of drawings for civil engineering completion and provide redlines to design staff. -Conduct site investigations as needed. -Collaborate as part of a multi-discipline project team for the successful completion of projects of various sizes.

What You Bring

-Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. -A minimum of 5 years related engineering experience. -Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Navisworks and MS Office. -Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision. -Bilingual English / Spanish abilities -Ability to travel domestically and internationally for projects as needed. -Registered PE in Arizona with the ability to obtain other states as needed. -Experience with multidisciplinary design and construction projects. -Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be an initiative-taker, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills. -Valid passport or the ability to obtain. -Experience preparing and editing construction documents and reports.
