Overview

Lead mechanical engineering delivery from FEED to EPC, managing specs, vendors and teams

Tasks

-Post-order technical management, coordination, and resolution of queries -Prepare, review, and approve datasheets, specifications, and requisitions for:Static equipment (e.g., pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanksRotating equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines)Mechanical packages (e.g., skid-mounted units, utility systems) -Collaborate with multi-discipline teams -Act as a client interface, representing the discipline in meetings and providing expert guidance. -Support project planning, cost control, and change management for mechanical engineering works. -Preparation of enquiry documents -Participate in risk reviews, HAZOPs, design reviews, and constructability assessments. -Provide technical assurance and mentor junior engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables. -Manage the full vendor package cycle, including:Preparation of enquiry documentsTechnical bid evaluationsPre-order vendor engagementPost-order technical management, coordination, and resolution of queriesFinal inspection and acceptance of equipment -Lead the mechanical engineering scope on a portfolio of projects, ensuring compliance with client, international, and industry standards. -Final inspection and acceptance of equipment

What You Bring

-Mechanical packages (e.g., skid-mounted units, utility systems) -Extensive experience in preparing datasheets and specifications for static, rotating, and packaged equipment. -Significant experience in FEED and EPC project delivery, with a strong understanding of the full -Rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines) -Solid experience within an engineering consultancy, EPC/EPCm contractor, or owner/operator environment. -Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised professional body (e.g., IMechE). -Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
