What You Bring

-You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you’re onsite -Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred). HC is required for Tipper driving roles -Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg Materials Australia sites) -Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may be required to be under a specified weight for these trucks -As we mentioned, driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven’t met before

-We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads -We pay a base rate and once you go past your regular hours in one day the first two after that will be at time and a half. If you do more than 2 hours overtime in a day, you go to double time. Meal allowances are generally paid after 10 hours in one shift -All new starts go through a 10-day training program before we let you loose by yourself -You prefer variety in your working life. No two days are ever the same when you’re driving one of our Agi trucks, but they could be in a tipper -Most days will start between 4am and 6am and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50 – 55 hours per week. Saturday work is generally available, paid at overtime rates
