Tasks

-- Develop and maintain project budgets, including cost estimates, forecasts, and actual costs -- Participate in project planning and provide input on cost-related matters -- Analyze project data and provide regular reports to management on project financial performance -- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to manage vendor contracts and invoices -- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for improvement -- Monitor project expenses and identify any variances from the budget -- Mentor and train junior cost control staff -- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cost control -- Work closely with project managers to ensure that all costs are accurately tracked and reported

What You Bring

-- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -- Strong communication and interpersonal skills -, Permanent -- Fluency in English, both written and verbal -- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and cost control principles -- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field -- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost control, preferably in the construction industry -- Knowledge of Arabic is a plus -- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines -- Proven leadership and team management experience -- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial management software
