Warehouse Helper

Overview

Assist with general warehouse labor, equipment maintenance, loading/unloading, and cleanup.

Tasks

-Operates heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, front end loaders, heavy trucks, and other heavy machinery to lift, roll, haul, load and unload materials and equipment, move soil, gravel, snow, construction supplies, and other materials. -Performs tasks related to housekeeping, organizing, storing, and transitioning of industrial matter and inventory. -Monitors equipment operation and identifies malfunctions. -Inspects, adjusts, and performs minor equipment repairs. -Assembles equipment and materials needed to begin and complete work projects; maintains warehouse equipment. -Assures deadlines are adhered to and met. -Uses machines tools, and physical labor to assist in performing loading and unloading of shipments, maintenance, repairs, and sorting. -Cleans, stores, and maintains equipment as required. -Prepares, updates, and maintains logs, records, and equipment maintenance schedules. -Loads and unloads deliveries both manually and with yellow iron. -forms work under the supervision of a Warehouse Supervisor. -Prepares and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment. -Provides required reports and other information as requested.
