Tasks

This role makes sure our finance systems and data work brilliantly for a large, complex and highly regulated organisation that provides homes to 90,000 households. Day to day you'll be the bridge between divisional finance users and Group Finance, Technology and Data - translating what needs to be done both ways so systems run smoothly, data is trusted, and priorities are clear. You'll lead a small team, improve processes and controls, and ensure our reporting stands up to audit and regulatory scrutiny. You'll be a key player in delivering major transformation projects; you'll develop practical dashboards and insight that help leaders make decisions; and you'll support major investments with modelling and impact analysis; and you'll be the flag-bearer for the CCO division on sound use, management and governance of data. Above all, you'll focus on outcomes for customers - using systems and information to improve service, value for money and compliance across a >£1bn turnover business. -Management and development of the team -Creation of forecasts and budgets -Ensuring accurate and timely production of Property management accounts -Manage and grow the key stakeholder relationship with the Property Director and his senior team, as well other key teams throughout Sanctuary

What You Bring

Worcester based with a balance of home and office working We need a calm, credible leader who can influence across a matrix, not a hands on coder. You'll be fluent in enterprise finance platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle or Dynamics) and in how data should be structured, governed and used. -Wellbeing support and tools -This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence -Confident in making sound financial recommendations based on business proposals and similar -Fully Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA -Advanced Excel and reporting tool capability is essential -Combined sound judgement with the people skills to align diverse stakeholders around changes that improve outcomes for customers -Demonstrable experience of managing a team -Strong experience of both management and statutory reporting, comfortable engaging senior executives and boards -Good track record of delivery in complex or regulated settings (housing, utilities, NHS, local government, financial services or large charities), setting clear priorities and seeing them through -Proven experience of being involved in, and managing organisational change -Extensive experience in operational finance teams

You'll have direct access to the divisional Finance Director, close collaboration with Group teams, and the freedom to set a clear plan that makes a tangible difference for customers and communities.
