The Role

Overview

Assemble, fit, and fabricate piping systems in shop per blueprints.

Tasks

-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for piping systems. -Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines. -Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and organizing shop inventory. -Perform layout and fit-up of piping assemblies in the shop. -Work with welders to position and secure pipes for welding. -Conduct quality checks on fabricated piping assemblies to ensure accuracy and compliance. -Maintain safe and clean working conditions in accordance with company policies. -Measure and verify pipe cut lengths per blueprints. -Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and pipe fabrication machinery.

What You Bring

-OSHA 10 -2+ years of pipefitting experience in fabrication or construction (preferred). -Ability to pass MIG positioner rollout certification on 2" sch80 weld test. -Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications. -Knowledge of various piping materials (carbon steel, stainless steel). -Ability to stand for long periods. -Effective communication and organizational skills. -Able to lift and climb ladders and scaffolds. -OSHA 10 certified. -Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. -Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60lbs. -Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop environment. -Proficiency in pipe layout, measuring, and fitting techniques. -Strong understanding of fabrication and construction safety practices. -Able to work long hours on feet. -Valid Driver’s License. -Eyesight correctable to 20/50. -Able to perform shift work. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -High school diploma or equivalent required; trade/vocational training preferred.
