Tasks

-Contribute to process improvements and R&D initiatives. -Mentor junior drafters and designers. -Collaborate with engineering teams to refine layouts and meet project goals. -Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. -Create detailed electrical and structural designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. -Maintain documentation and complete quality checks.

What You Bring

-5+ years of SolidWorks experience in a drafting/design capacity, including experience gained in an associate's program. -Experience in structural steel, telecommunications, power distribution, utility design, substation design, and transmission line design. -5+ years of drafting/design experience in utilities or engineering, including work from an associate's degree. -Ability to demonstrate creative and critical thinking on the job. -Experience with Fusion 360 and Inventor. -Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset. -Associate’s degree in drafting/design or related field (Bachelor’s a plus). -Strong communication skills are desired. -Proficient in AutoCAD. -Proficiency in 3D modeling within SolidWorks. -Ability to work independently and communicate within cross-functional teams.
