Tasks

-Assist with pilot testing, system installation oversight, and injection activities. -Communicate effectively with team members, regulators, and clients. -Environmental sampling of soil, groundwater, and surface water per FDEP SOPs. -Oversee subcontractors during well drilling, abandonments, and excavations. -Supervising drilling, well installation, and excavation activities. -Support site assessments and tank closure evaluations. -Conduct routine operations and maintenance of environmental remediation systems. -Perform soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling in accordance with FDEP SOPs. -Contribute to technical reporting and documentation as needed. -Maintain accurate field notes and system performance records.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with UST closures, site assessments, and environmental compliance. -Exposure to remediation system construction and installation. -Prior work with an FDEP-approved Agency Term Contractor. -Accurate record-keeping of field activities, system performance, and decisions. -Ability to contribute to environmental reports and documentation. -Familiarity with water level meters, PID, flow meters, etc. -Clear and professional interaction with coworkers, clients, and regulators. -40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification. -Comfortable working independently in a remote and field-based role. -Experience assisting with pilot tests for remediation systems. -Hands-on experience with operating and maintaining remediation systems such as pumps, filters, and injection systems. -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. -Understanding of FAC Chapter 62-777 and 62-780. -Physical capability to lift equipment and perform physically demanding fieldwork.
