Overview

Trim and flip PVC fittings, ensuring proper length and quality on the production line.

Tasks

-Reports equipment malfunctions, operation delays, or product defects immediately to supervisor or leader -Performs flipping online (TSL & Brown machines) -Receives and follows verbal and written instructions from supervisor or lead -Take Off – Remove formed/molded PVC fittings from table saw and place them in trim area or aside as needed -Converts fittings to meet established specifications -Trimming PVC fittings with hand scissors to the correct length -Monitors and reports equipment conditions -Prepares production reports as directed or required -Flip the PVC fittings at the table -Supports and promotes safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements -Use safe work practices, and reports hazardous conditions to supervisor -Show initiative in supporting safety, plant wide. Participates on committees as required -Ensures that all Housekeeping & 5S areas of responsibility have been completed before end of shift and keeps equipment, work areas and other prescribed areas clean and orderly at all times
