Tasks
-Perform inspections of dams and hydraulic structures. -Prepare complete plans and specifications to be part of construction documents. -Collect data and measurements in the field. -Develop engineering recommendations and write technical reports. -Assist in the preparation of CAD drawings for contract documents and reports with input and guidance from senior engineers in accordance with internal drafting procedures and guidelines. -Apply professional principles, complex numerical models, and innovative solutions to real-world problems as part of a team of engineers and scientists while under the supervision of senior engineering personnel. -Perform design calculations for hydraulic structures including spillways, dam outlet works, diversion and check structures, measurement flumes, and other various raw water infrastructure.

What You Bring
-Prior internship or professional work in a related field (i.e. geotechnical engineering, construction, civil engineering, etc.) -EIT certification -Master’s degree -Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D -Must possess a valid driver’s license as driving is an essential function of the job -Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check -Willingness and ability to perform field work and travel, including assignments that may last several months away from the office -0-2 years of professional experience -Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening -Strong work ethic and a desire for continual self-improvement -Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Ability to multi-task
