The Role

Overview

Ensure timely flow of work orders, resolve bottlenecks, and coordinate production.

Tasks

-Participate in daily production meetings to communicate status updates and problem areas. -Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Planning to resolve issues impacting on-time delivery. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in ERP/MRP systems related to job status and priorities. -Coordinate with the Detail Scheduler and Operations team to support daily and weekly production goals. -Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in the production workflow. -Identify and escalate potential delays or constraints to leadership and cross-functional teams. -Track daily job status and proactively follow up with departments to maintain production flow. -Assist in expediting materials or tools needed to prevent production delays.

What You Bring

-Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency. -Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and shop floor tracking. -Experience in the aerospace or fastener manufacturing industry. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision. -High school diploma or equivalent. -3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing expeditor, coordinator, or production support role. -Lean manufacturing knowledge or experience. -Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. -Excellent communication and follow-up skills. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis tools.
