The Role

Overview

Develop and coordinate 3D electrical BIM models ensuring constructability and clash resolution.

Tasks

-Collaborate with project team (engineers, designers, foremen, field staff) to convert design drawings to BIM models, review submittals and update models to reflect as-built conditions and installation changes -Manage BIM content and libraries for electrical scope (e.g., families, templates, device blocks, conduit/tray elements), execute quality control checks, track installation drawing logs and ensure models are properly coordinated for construction and fabrication -Ensure compliance with the project’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP), maintain standards and protocols for model creation, naming conventions, and deliverables -Perform clash detection between electrical systems and other disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural), lead coordination meetings to resolve model conflicts and integrate changes into the BIM model -Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical models (lighting fixtures, equipment, conduit/tray routing) in Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks, ensuring accuracy and constructability per contract documents

What You Bring

-At least 3 years professional experience in BIM coordination. -Experience across a range of building sectors, like healthcare, commercial, etc -Familiarity with estimating tools and softwares, such as BlueBeam

Benefits
