  • Excellent oral communication skills, including customer interactions, formal and informal training, and meeting facilitation.
  • Operational and Maintenance Knowledge of the following radio systems:
  • Capable of ascending shipboard ladders.
  • Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, or equivalent AND seven (7) years of installation/integration experience.
  • Spectrum Analyzer
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, as required.
  • Familiar with the following test equipment:
  • AV2098 Antennas
  • Antenna Analyzer
  • Cornet Switch
  • Communications analyzer (CMA-180)
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
  • Six (6) years with a degree/formal training or ten (10) years with HS/GED of operational and maintenance experience with inshore- and shipboard-based U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) UHF MILSATCOM systems.
  • Ability to research and analyze operational data.
  • Valid U.S. Passport.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office and related business software.
  • Capable of working at heights (shipboard masts and rooftop antenna locations).
  • Knowledge and use of USCG shipboard internal and external communications systems.
  • U.S. Citizen.
