The Role

Overview

Manage sales, accounts, and field service operations for elevator customers in Chicago.

Tasks

-Retain and resign current maintenance agreements -Monitor and manage site parts inventory -Manage successful transition of new installations to service/maintenance contracts -Manage account management and service operations for the branch -Prospect, build, and maintain customer relationships, achieve or exceed sales objectives, and serve as technical consultant to customers in the assigned territory -Perform field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety/logistics plans -Lead the performance of field operations for all service/maintenance projects ensuring deadlines are met

What You Bring

-Need to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities -Industry knowledge required -Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment -4+ years outside sales experience, project management, or field management experience within the elevator industry required -High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred -Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills -Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers -Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
