Tasks

-Preform observation and inspection duties on transportation related projects -Works with project teams both internally and externally to address project issues -Participates in all safety initiatives and policies -Maintains and pursues national recognized DOT certifications -Trains and mentors other Quality Inspectors

What You Bring

-High customer service orientation -Understands the flow of DOT projects and how to obtain information -Able to lift 50 to 75 pounds. -Has a firm grasp on local DOT regulations/specifications, schedule of material control and specific project requirements -5+ years related work experience in materials testing or construction -ACI Field Grade 1 preferred -High School diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred -Strong Plan reading skills -Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality -Has a broad understanding of Braun Intertec’s core services and capabilities of those offerings -Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions -Strong technical aptitude -A valid driver’s license -MnDOT level II certifications in Concrete, Bituminous or Grading & Base -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Excellent organizational skills -Regularly communicates both written and verbally the progress of a project -Very good written and verbal communication skills -Demonstrated experience and skill in using MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, and Outlook) -Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities
