Lead security strategy and operations across NA manufacturing facilities.

Tasks

-Collaborate with plant leadership, HR, Legal, and Labor Relations to ensure consistent and compliant security practices across all sites -Oversee physical security systems, access control, surveillance, and incident response protocols -Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions -Lead crisis management and emergency response planning, including drills and training -Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy tailored to the unique needs of manufacturing environments, including unionized and non-unionized facilities -Ensure compliance with OSHA, DHS, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations -Represent the region in global security forums and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives -Lead and mentor a regional team of security professionals and manage third-party security providers -Monitor regional threat landscapes and regulatory developments to proactively address emerging risks

What You Bring

-Preferred Certifications: CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Security Professional), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) -Strong knowledge of labor relations, workplace violence prevention, and regulatory compliance. -Police Academy graduates with at least 10 years of progressive experience in corporate or industrial security will also be considered as meeting the educational equivalency requirement. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and crisis management skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field. -Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate or industrial security, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. -Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization. -Proven experience managing security operations in both unionized and non-unionized manufacturing environments. -Strong analytical and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments. -Candidates with a minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in Security Operations will be considered as having met the educational equivalency requirement in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
