Tasks

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure fire safety compliance in building designs -Participate in site visits to observe and learn about fire protection system installations -Support the team in creating and maintaining project documentation and drawings -Assist in researching and staying up-to-date with the latest fire protection technologies and regulations -Help prepare technical reports and documentation for fire protection projects -Assist in the design and review of fire protection systems for various building types -Support senior engineers in conducting fire risk assessments and safety audits -Contribute to the development of fire safety plans and emergency procedures

What You Bring

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Eagerness to learn and develop skills in fire protection engineering. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). -Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering and must have completed at least one of years of study. Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship. -Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. -Familiarity with CAD software and fire protection engineering tools is a plus. -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. -Basic knowledge of fire protection systems, safety codes, and standards.
