Overview

Install and maintain commercial glazing systems, including windows, curtain walls, and skylights.

Tasks

-Perform precise caulking and sealing for weatherproofing and structural integrity. -Collaborate with team members and other trades to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards. -Fabricate and install aluminum panels, break metal, operable glass partitions, demountable partitions, mirrors, and other architectural elements. -Operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently. -Install, repair, and maintain glazing systems, including aluminum and wood windows, storefronts, curtain walls, and skylights. -Uphold OSHA regulations and maintain a clean, safe job site. -Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications. -Measure, cut, and fit glass and metal materials with accuracy and care. -Support historic restoration projects, preserving both beauty and function.

What You Bring

-Commitment to safety, with knowledge of proper PPE use and OSHA standards. -A team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills. -2–5 years of experience as a commercial glazier (or equivalent trade experience). -Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. -Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work at heights. -Proven ability to install and repair a range of glazing systems storefronts, curtain walls, skylights, glass handrails, panels, and more. -Certifications such as OSHA 10/30 or glazing-specific credentials are a plus. -Experience with caulking and historic restoration projects is a plus. -Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. -Solid understanding of glazing materials, architectural systems, and installation methods.
