Overview
Provide full‑range secretarial support for Labor Relations at the Dept. of Corrections.

Tasks
-Process Union Business Leave requests received by the Office of Labor Relations, Department of Corrections; -Compile and process daily union information requests, including complex multi-day data gathering; -Schedule and coordinate Labor Management meetings for multiple Commissioners; -Stay connected! Log in daily to your JobAps Personal Status Board to track your status and check email (including spam/junk folders) for updates and tasks. -operate office equipment which includes computers, tablets and other electronic equipment; -Respond to initial unemployment claims and manage follow-up action as needed; -operate office suite software; -Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of Article 7 and 8 union requests; -take notes (shorthand, speedwriting or other method acceptable to the supervisor). -Maintain and oversee labor relations filing systems and documentation; -schedule and prioritize office workflow; -Log incoming grievances and prepare case files for Agency Labor Relations Specialists;

What You Bring
-proper grammar, punctuation and spelling; -business math; -oral and written communication skills; -Ability to -Experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, One Drive and Excel. -Considerable knowledge of -Experience handling sensitive and confidential information. -Experience organizing, tracking, and retrieving information using electronic-based systems. -Referral Questions: This posting may require completion of additional Referral Questions (RQs), which must be completed by the questionnaire’s expiration date.
