Lead SEM for water & wastewater clients, improve energy efficiency and coach facilities.

Tasks

-Identify and engage water/wastewater facilities as potential participants in incentive programs. Identify opportunities to generate additional work from current clients -Engage with clients (mostly municipal water and wastewater) over the long term and coach them toward operational improvements that achieve energy efficient outcomes -Facilitate regional W/WW workshops and seminars for SEM participants -Provide technical services and customer support within various electric utility conservation programs -Prepare feasibility reports for energy efficiency projects with existing systems and conduct design reviews of expansions, upgrades, and greenfield projects -Facilitate and communicate energy performance reporting, with occasional Excel-based modeling and analysis of water/wastewater facility performance -Interface with electric utilities, water/wastewater utilities, design consultants, and the regulatory community as needed to support SEM participant progress -Provide project oversight to ensure progress and high-quality deliverables are on time -Perform customer site visits to assess municipal water and wastewater operations from a technical and operational perspective, with a focus on improving energy efficient operations

What You Bring

-Experience with industrial energy efficiency -Strong analysis skills using MS Excel -A.A/B.S /B.A in mechanical, chemical, civil engineering, or other applicable field -Experience and strong understanding of the regulatory framework within which municipal facilities operate -At least 5 years of experience in municipal water or wastewater operations, maintenance, management, or design -Progressive experience in the management or design of water distribution and treatment systems, or wastewater collection, conveyance, treatment systems, and processes -Cascade Energy is not able to provide sponsorship for work authorization in the U.S., which includes OPT. -Experience with U.S. local, state, regional, and federal funding strategies, and regulations relevant to water/wastewater utilities in the U.S.
