Graduate Engineer I - Transportation

Overview

Provide civil engineering design and project support using CAD, Bentley, and related software.

Tasks

-Assignments require the investigation of a limited number of variables; supervisory assistance is provided on unusual problems and possible solutions. -Investigating existing site conditions, jurisdictional criteria, and constraints to inform design iterations and direction. -Expanding your engineering toolbox and vocabulary to add knowledge of advanced techniques, applied theory, industry concepts, and best practices. -Providing information or exhibits to inform client and internal leaders in decision making related to the execution or implementation of project objectives. -Collaborate with technical experts, peers, and support roles to perform design calculations, prepare equipment or material specifications, and generate technical drawings and exhibits -Check-ins with your manager and other engineering mentors to identify areas of excellence and growth opportunities.

What You Bring

-Strong communication skills -Bachelor of Science Degree from ABET accredited university (Civil Engineering Preferred) -Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley Microstation -Previous work experience in the engineering industry -Experience with Bluebeam and Water Resources Software (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS) -Passed the FE Exam
