Tasks

-Perform material testing and analysis, including concrete strength tests, slump tests, and other relevant assessments. -Conduct thorough inspections of civil works and concrete structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. -Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and work with the construction team to implement corrective actions. -Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the job site. -Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare comprehensive reports on findings. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. -Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality control plans and procedures. -Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues and provide recommendations for improvement.

What You Bring

-Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment. -Regular, reliable attendance -Familiarity with construction management software and tools. -Experience with large-scale construction projects. -Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. -Certification from the American Concrete Institute (ACI) is preferred. -Additional certifications in quality control or construction management. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -At least 5 years of experience in quality inspection, with a focus on civil works and concrete. -Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
