Tasks
-Lead initiatives to automate tax reporting and compliance processes, leveraging advanced technologies such as AI and machine learning. -Manage a team of IT professionals and, provide appropriate coaching to develop employee skills and continuously improve performance. -Accountable for product support, stability, and governance: including data, policy, cybersecurity, and usage. -Oversee the integration of tax and compliance requirements into the product development lifecycle, ensuring that all features and updates comply with relevant regulations. -Support a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle. -Drive definition and continuous improvement of product processes, such as Lean, Agile, Scrum and DevSecOps -Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work. -Develop and implement strategies for tax-efficient processes and systems, ensuring alignment with the company's overall financial strategy. -Plan, manage, and track product funding and the team's time. Is fully responsible for product budget and profit plan. -Act as a functional expert in areas related to the product, including across Eaton's portfolio and with other business units. -Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that the product meets all regulatory requirements and stays updated with changes in tax laws and regulations. -Work closely with business stakeholders and customers, understanding their priorities and defining business outcomes and KPIs for the products. -Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards. -Influences, empowers, and fosters the execution of key priorities. -Set and champion the product vision, work with key senior leaders to influence strategic business objectives, develop and maintain the product roadmap, and define key operational processes. -Manage contracts with software and service vendors to support the product strategy. Manage vendor strategy and relationship.

What You Bring
-Demonstrates decision effectiveness: Leverages critical thinking skills and data to create new insights and improve decision speed and quality. -Minimum of 10 years of experience as an analyst, BRM, project manager, engineer or program lead on highly complex technology projects and programs -Minimum 7 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar position -Tax technology experience and background. -Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. -This position can be based in any of Eaton’s IT hubs; such as Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Moon Township PA, Raleigh NC or Waukesha WI. This role can also a remote position. -Growth mindset: Demonstrates entrepreneurship, business and financial savvy aligned to the customer. -An undergraduate degree is required. A Master’s degree is preferred. -Experience with implementing tax or financial solutions.
