The Role

Tasks

-Conduct weekly/monthly stocktakes and assist with cost and data audits. -Adhere to company risk management and safety policies, ensuring compliance across all operations. -Monitor and coordinate driver breaks in line with fatigue management requirements. -Maintain NHVAS compliance and ensure all documentation is auditable and up to date. -Liaise with customers regarding delivery times, pricing, and accuracy to support revenue and stock control. -Manage transport permits and maintain an accurate register, including over-dimensional permits. -Manage training and induction records for employees and site access requirements. -Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and correspondence. -Administer and improve fatigue management and in-vehicle navigation systems. -Receive and process customer orders (phone and face-to-face) with accurate scheduling and delivery details. -Report on upcoming maintenance and mass management requirements prior to due dates. -Input and maintain data across systems, including SERA and Time Target. -Meet operational timeframes and respond effectively to changing delivery requirements. -Allocate trucks and drivers to jobs, ensuring vehicle suitability and delivery efficiency. -Support maintenance programs, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. -Process purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipting prior to month-end deadlines.

What You Bring

-A sound understanding of NHVAS, fatigue management, and transport compliance (or willingness to learn). -Previous experience in a transport allocation, logistics coordination, or administrative support role. -Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant transport management systems. -Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship status. -High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management. -Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
