Tasks

-Senior Principal Engineer shall co-ordinate with Team Lead/Project Manager and Assistant Engineer/Senior Engineer/Principal Engineer/Technical Manager and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of Mechanical Design and 2D drawings/3D Models. -should be a team player and should coordinate within the team for timely delivery of project.

What You Bring

-Having good knowledge on Bill of Quantities estimation and Costing would be desirable. -Good knowledge on the Electromechanical equipment’s related to Water and Wastewater Treatment like Pumps, Blowers, mechanical screen, scraper mechanism, air diffusers, dewatering equipment, Pressure vessel, Chemical Storage/Dosing Tanks and Dosing skids, Lifting equipment’s, pipes, valves/sluice gates and fittings etc. -Good knowledge on Surge Analysis and Water Hammer Studies. -should have hands on experience in using any of the design/drawing software (AutoCAD 2D and MS Excel) is desirable. Preference will be given if the candidate having experience on AutoCAD Plant 3D/Revit Software’s. -Good knowledge on the Pipe, Valve and fitting standards and Indian/International codes -Should have 12-15 years of experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant mechanical design. Very Good Knowledge of design codes like ASME / ANSI Standards / DIN / any other international standards would be desirable. -Knowledge and understanding of principles of Wastewater Treatment Technology like Conventional ASP with Nitrogen and Phosphorus Removal, CASP with Power Generation, Extended Aeration Process like MLE, A20, Sequencing Batch Reactor and Advanced Treatment with MBR and MBBR/IFAS would be desirable. -Professional English language skills (written and verbal). -Good knowledge and working experience in preparation of General Arrangement drawings (i.e.) Detailed Engineering Drawings for various process units in 2D, General layouts, Hydraulics, Piping layout and P&ID is required. Preference will be given for the candidate having experience in preparing 3D drawings on AutoCAD Plant 3D/Revit Software’s. -Good knowledge and preparation of mechanical design of Pump stations and Lift station is required. Very good knowledge on American Hydraulic Institute Standards is required. -BE/B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from an institute of repute. -Good Knowledge on preparing Mechanical Datasheets, Mechanical Equipment List, Piping, Valve and Penstock Schedule etc. is required. -self-motivated, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision. -in addition to technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills. -Basic knowledge on other inter discipline team like Electrical, Instrumentation and Civil would be desirable.
