Tasks

-Provide conceptual-level estimates, detailed quantity take-off, change order reviews/reconciliations, and value engineering solutions as necessary -Support business development efforts by developing, promoting, and maintaining client relationships through the creation of cost exhibits for proposals, meetings, presentations, etc. -Create estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations, at all levels of project development. -Provide a detailed review of all documentation and develop comprehensive cost estimates/models that communicate client’s project and strategic goals -Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures -Actively research, solicit, and develop sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining accuracy of cost information

What You Bring

-Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents at all levels of design. -Expert user of industry software for quantity take-off -Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred -Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals -Advanced Microsoft Excel user and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite -A minimum of 10 years as a cost estimating professional, preferably as a consultant, to include, but not limited to conceptual estimating, take-offs, change order review/reconciliation, value engineering solutions, etc.
