Tasks

-Ensures network and software configurations meet customer technical requirements -Troubleshoots network and software performance problems and proposes remedy options -Directs & executes network rebalancing/optimization plans -Investigates system failures, registration failures, and interactive read failures in system deployments -Performs customer system integration planning and implementation -Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. -Provides functional and operational enhancement recommendations into the New Product Introduction (NPI) process based on client feedback -Establishes and monitors system performance reporting, recognizing adverse trends and taking necessary preventative and corrective actions -Acts as liaison between Customer Operations Center, corporate development resources, and local project team to resolve technical issues -Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers. -Ensures network equipment meets customer technical specifications -Acts as primary technical resource that collaborates with the client throughout a deployment project and partners with a customer to develop requirements and propose technical solutions -Directs & implements new firmware, Device Control Word (DCW), and software releases with customer programs -Works with customer requirements to propose technical solutions -Works closely with the Field Engineers to resolve complex issues relation to wireless communications and integrated software applications -Supports creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for technical elements of the system that are effective and repeatable Directs and executes system upgrades including the network with new software releases

Reasonable accommodations provided for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. -Accustomed to working in an environment driven by high standards for service and system delivery. -Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities -Understanding of programming logic and the ability to troubleshoot systems by following code -Excellent team player; self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised -Experience with .NET framework and WebServices required. -Highly adaptable in changing environments -Experience with managing cross-functional highly technical project teams. -Uses leadership skills to resolve a wide range of issues in creative and practical ways to satisfy the customer needs. -Experience with Microsoft SQL Server a plus -Broad technical depth in integration and operation of complex systems -Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solving problems and obtaining solutions. -Excellent written and oral communication -Experience in working with solutions involving both software and hardware -Business Process consulting experience a plus -Ability to travel approximately 75%, including international travel -Excellent customer communications and customer service skills -Knowledge of complex technical data systems and RF network technologies -Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience. -Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus -Experience in process definition and design to meet overall business objectives. -Experience with Oracle 10g required (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL) -Personal Protection Equipment/Other OHSAS-18001 Safety Requirements: Ensure the continued efforts and assist in achieving annual goals of health, safety, and environmental policies. Must be current with available OSHA/Safety Training provided by the Company. If required, must be able to work while wearing safety equipment such as hard hats, work boats, gloves, hearing protection, and others. -Ability to plan and maintain schedules. -Highly adaptable in a dynamic work environment -Experience with UNIX Sun Solaris required (vi, crontab, shell scripting, process monitoring, Perl) a plus. -Bachelor of Science degree required. (Advanced degree desired). -Utility operations experience is a plus
