Tasks

-Monitor hot work, confined space entry, and lifting operations -Support implementation of Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and toolbox talks -Lead and participate in incident/near-miss investigations using root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5-Whys, fishbone diagram) -Assist in preparation of safety plans, risk assessments, and HAZOP/HAZID /HIRA studies -Conduct safety inductions, refresher training, and drills (fire, gas leak, evacuation) -Promote behavioral safety and safety leadership among operations staff -Conduct safety inspections and audits of gas facilities (pipelines, compressors, plants, Storage Tank etc.) -Ensure compliance with national and international safety laws and standards (e, PESO, OSHA, ISO ,14001, 45001) -Contribute to safety campaigns, awareness sessions, and audits -Identify, assess, and control hazards related to gas leaks, high-pressure systems, flammable materials, and confined spaces -Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) -Recommend engineering controls or administrative procedures for risk reduction -Maintain records and reporting systems (e.g., IMS, incident logs, audit findings) -Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and emergency response protocols -Report safety KPIs to management and regulatory authorities -Analyse leading and lagging indicators (TRIR, LTIFR, near-miss rate)
