Tasks

-Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements -Conduct regular audits, inspections, and incident investigations, driving continuous improvement -Liaise with client representatives, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to maintain transparent communication and reporting -Lead all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities on site, ensuring full compliance with Irish legislation and company standards -Provide training, guidance, and support to site teams and subcontractors -Champion a culture of safety-first thinking across all phases of the project

A leading international construction firm is seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to join its Life Sciences team on a major pharmaceutical project in Limerick. This role is critical to ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and wellbeing across complex, high-specification builds. -Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within life sciences, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom construction -Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment -Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and best practices -Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills -NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification
