Industrial Facilities Team Coordinator

Maintain, clean, and repair Asheville manufacturing facility ensuring safety and efficiency.

Tasks

-Perform routine cleaning tasks and manage waste removal, including heavy debris -Ensure cleanliness and organization of all plant areas including restrooms, break rooms, training rooms, production floor, and outdoor spaces -Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and equipment upkeep -Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, trash pickup, and snow/ice removal -Support post-maintenance clean-up and inspections -Maintain safe working conditions and support environmental standards -Conduct minor repairs and maintenance projects including lighting, ceiling tiles, painting, plumbing, and small construction tasks -Maintain and stock cleaning supplies and tools -Regularly clean machinery and auxiliary equipment -Maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies, and consistent housekeeping

What You Bring

-Ability to work 8-12-hour shifts and perform repetitive motions -High school diploma or GED required -Familiarity with industrial cleaning supplies and powered industrial vehicles -Experience in a manufacturing or production environment strongly preferred -Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems -Must wear required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.) -Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods -Basic safety equipment (i.e., safety glasses, ear plugs) will be provided -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds -Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities or industrial maintenance -Strong written and verbal communication skills
