Tasks

-Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, including managing claims, variations, and disputes. -Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis for senior management and stakeholders. -Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. -Provide strategic direction and leadership for all commercial activities across the project. -Ensure procurement activities align with project requirements and organizational policies. -Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements. -Monitor project costs and implement robust cost control measures to prevent overruns. -Represent the project in commercial discussions and negotiations with stakeholders. -Review Contractor's and Client's Change requests. -Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure optimal performance. -Lead the development and management of project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals. -Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle. -Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts with contractors, suppliers, and consultants. -Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, to ensure alignment on commercial matters. -Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance. -Provide expert advice on contract interpretation and risk mitigation strategies. -Manage procurement processes, including tendering, bid evaluations, and vendor selection. -Develop contingency plans to address potential financial and contractual challenges. -Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve project objectives and maximize value. -Prepare and present comprehensive commercial reports to stakeholders and senior management.

What You Bring

-Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. -Willingness to travel to project sites as required. -Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and delivering within budget and schedule. -Proficiency in project management software and financial tools. -Leadership and team management expertise. -Professional certification (e.g., RICS, MRICS, or equivalent) is required. -Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. -Experience in PMCM infrastructure projects is highly desirable. -Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying -Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Extensive knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and cost management principles. -Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. -Familiarity with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices. -Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial management within the infrastructure construction sector. -Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and resolve disputes effectively.
