Tasks

-Actively participate in project reviews -Apply company quality assurance guidelines and procedures, and independently monitor for quality assurance -Take responsibility for a wide variety of specialized project-related administrative and accounting functions -Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members -Organize and coordinate meetings, and assist with presentations -Exercise good judgment and discretion, and independently resolve problems and issues relating to administrative project functions -Perform constructability and biddability reviews -Manage project documents and files -Work closely with multiple Project Managers and project teams -Oversee activities of other administrative project support staff as needed -Work independently to effectively manage complex project- and executive-level paper and electronic files, documents and records -Work with complex contracts and sub-agreements -Compose and develop correspondence and report -Provide risk management and issue resolution leadership -Review programs for conformance with Department standards -Answer questions regarding company policies, procedures, and guidelines -Provide mentorship to junior staff -Track and monitor project budgets, workloads, and schedules -Manage project insurance matters -Serve as point of contact and project lead for multiple construction projects -Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures -Handle client invoicing, manage collections, complete project budgets and ensure compliance with project contractual obligations as needed

What You Bring

-Experience with Microsoft Office -Previous FDOT or other comparable agency experience strongly preferred -Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc. -Structures/Bridges Construction Management/Inspection experience -Exhibit professionalism with clients -A minimum of 2 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including field engineering, construction submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety -Ability to interpret construction schedules -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience -Professional Engineering License -Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering
