Project Engineer - Electrical

Overview

Lead electrical projects, support PM, manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety.

Tasks

-Reviewing bid packages prior to distribution and reviewing proposals prior to submission to the client -Recommending project personnel transactions (hiring, transfers, wages, etc.) purchase requisitions, change requests, etc. in collaboration with the project manager. -Establishing a safety culture for the project team -Planning and coordinating all activities and resources on assigned project(s) -Implementing company policies and procedures -Working with the project manager and project team to review the project proposal and establish the schedule, work plan, budget, and procedures for accomplishing project, along with the staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project -Managing financial aspects of the project including fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc. to protect company’s interests and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client -Continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.

What You Bring

-PMP Certification (a plus but not required) -Bachelor of Science in Engineering -5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in a consulting organization -Deep understanding of process and personal safety -Business understanding and demonstrated capability to manage business challenges -Understanding of risk and risk management techniques -Excellent leadership and communication skills
