Overview

Conduct power system studies and transmission planning for utility clients in the Northeast US.

Tasks

-Lead or support project(s) throughout the whole lifecycle (i.e. from the technical bid/proposal to execution, reports, client meetings/presentations, to close-out). -Participate in meetings with utilities as part of project delivery or business development. -Work closely with the team members across North America and globally. -Participate in ISO/RTO stakeholder forums and other applicable technical committees and stay up to date with latest standards and requirements. #epjobs #naepjobs -Perform a variety of steady-state and transient power system studies.

What You Bring

-Advanced degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering, from a recognized institution. -Direct experience with National Grid and/or Eversource. -Team player with great interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. -Strong background with at least one of the following system operators ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, IESO. -Ability and willingness to travel within North America. -Professional Engineer (PE or PEng) License. -Minimum 4 years of direct experience with power system studies using PSS/E, TARA and/or PSCAD. -Experience with large loads such as data centers. -Up to date knowledge and experience with NERC, FERC, and NPCC reliability standards.
