Tasks

-Elicit product and capability requirements and undertake requirements decomposition and function architecting. -Integrate capabilities across multi-disciplined design teams to develop the design of the SMR Power Station. -Deliver the capabilities within the Power Station Architecture Model (MBSE). -Use optioneering & systems engineering techniques to deliver Power Station design solutions against product requirements. -Derive and cascade plant performance measures and deliver solutions for performance improvement. -Ensure the requirements flow to the lower tier systems enables the overarching power station objectives to be met. -As part of the power Station Integration team you will help deliver the product level design of the Power Station through the development of plant capabilities (e.g. generate power) to meet business and customer requirements and manage the performance and attributes of the power station in relation to these. (e.g. net power output, availability, product cost etc.)

What You Bring

-Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance -Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check -Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check -Experience in product or system level design and Integration including aspects of owning and solving complex product or system level design problems and delivering design solutions across multiple systems and design areas. -Good understanding of Systems Engineering tools and techniques and application of these in a design environment, with experience in requirements elicitation and derivation. -Demonstrable interpersonal skills with experience in working across multi-disciplined teams to integrate design solutions. -An engineering background with domain experience in Nuclear, Power generation or another highly regulated industry.
