Roadway Testing Technician (RTT)

Overview

Perform on-site roadway QA testing, inspections, and documentation for construction projects.

Tasks

-Communicate effectively with colleagues and client representatives -Perform a variety of on-site quality control tests, inspections, and project-specific observations/evaluations -Conduct record-keeping to ensure all necessary observations are documented -Interpret and work from drawings and specifications -Monitor and inspect roadway construction to ensure overall compliance regarding plans, safety, and contract requirements

What You Bring

-Ability to lift 50 pounds -High School Diploma/GED -The worker is subject to variable climate and environmental conditions including but not limited to extreme cold and heat. -ACI certification is required -Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments -Ability to carry required instruments and equipment -Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant roadway testing -Candidate should be a Georgia Department of Transportation RTT Certified Technician -Radiation safety training for the use of Nuclear Density Gauge is required -Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
