Project Engineer - Water Resources

Overview

Design and support water/wastewater systems and drainage projects for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Remain updated on current professional practices and maintain a high awareness of new products and procedures in industry by monitoring trade publications and actively participating in professional associations -Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects -Develop plans, specifications, and probable opinion of construction cost estimates for water and wastewater projects -Complete computer modeling for water distribution, wastewater collection and drainage systems -Prepare permit applications relative to water and wastewater facilities. -Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants and provide technical support -Complete design calculation utilizing spreadsheets and computer-based design software -Complete studies, reports, and investigations of water, wastewater, and drainage issues based upon needs and desires of clients

What You Bring

-EIT Preferred. If candidate has not obtained EIT, indicate expected date for attaining EIT -Strong organization and time management skills -Sufficient experience and proper competency to serve project engineering client needs -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering. Include GPA in Education & Certification. -0-4 Years of Experience
