The Role
Overview
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on data center mechanical/electrical systems.

Tasks
-Assist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance. -Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects. -Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. -Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. -Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations. -Building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU’s and utilities. -Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment. -Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures. Follow all safety processes and requirements and ensure all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met. Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records. -React to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed. -Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities. -To effectively present information to an internal department, client, management and/or colleagues. -Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment. -Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problems. -Alert management if subcontractor performance doesn’t meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement.

What You Bring
-Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. -Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. -Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups. -Must be able to Meet the physical requirements of this role. -Training in a Technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays -Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
