Tasks

-Install protection on adjacent surfaces. -Erect scaffolding, set up ladders, or work out of aerial equipment. -Load and unload trucks. -Communicate effectively with coworkers. -Abide by all OSHA and Houck safety guidelines. -Roll out and position singly-ply and BUR materials. -Install flashing and associated trim. -Operate hand tools and small equipment, with proper training. -Apply roof surfacing, to include coating and/or various sizes of gravel. -Remove and dispose of existing roofing material. -Remove snow and water from roofs. -Apply adhesives in a variety of techniques, including spray, roller and hot mop. -Carry and place various materials for installation. -Receive instructions from supervisor. -Clean construction site and eliminate possible hazards.
