Tasks

Lead installation and testing of Cat6, Cat6A, and/or fibre optic cabling across a variety of environments As a Senior Cabling Technician, you will lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of Cat6/Cat6A and fibre optic cabling systems across a range of operational settings. This role involves taking responsibility for on-site coordination, mentoring less experienced technicians, and ensuring that work is delivered to a consistently high standard. A strong working knowledge of network infrastructure, combined with a proactive and organised approach, is essential Mentor and support junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency in their work Act as a point of contact for Chargehands and Foremen Interpret technical drawings and method statements to plan and execute work effectively Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety standards and site protocols

What You Bring

-Must have a current Safe Pass or be willing to get one before commencing employment -Full driving licence, own transport, and flexibility to travel between project sites -Significant experience installing and testing copper and fibre cabling, ideally within data centres or similarly complex environments -Proven ability to work independently -Certification in Working at Heights, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) or Hoist Operator training are an advantage but not essential. -Strong understanding of Health and Safety procedures in construction or technical environments
